A 10 minute drive further south and you arrive at the island's most exotic beaches. 10-15 minutes drive north will find you in Klong Dao, a highly populated beach area and then into Saladeang where you will find the largest supermarket, banks, port etc. A 10 minute drive across the island from Coconut Bay takes you via a beautiful scenic road to Koh Lanta, Old Town, a must see on any trip - an authentic Chinese fishing town with beautiful architecture. Getting around: There are car parking spaces for residents and guests - these are not allocated but there is space for cars and bikes. In terms of transport, there are always tuk tuk's outside the main driveway next to Moonlight resort next door.
