UAE passport holders do not need to apply for a visa to enter Thailand. The UAE is listed in the Visa Exemption Scheme, which means travellers can enter Thailand and stay in the country for up to 30 days. UAE travellers who plan to stay for more than 30 days are required to apply for a Thailand Tourist visa with an extended duration of stay.
There are multiple visa schemes available for UAE travellers, all of which we will outline below.
Tourist Visa
The Tourist Visa gives the traveller the opportunity to stay in the country for 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days.
Thai Elite Visa
The Thailand Elite Visa makes the country easily accessible to travellers for years. This means it’s the visa you should get if you’re thinking of visiting the country often or considering relocating permanently. In fact, it allows an Emirati expat to live in Thailand for up to 20 years.
The Thai Elite Visa holder will be represented by the Thai Elite staff on the 90-day reporting required by the immigration. They will also receive expedited immigration formalities and passport control processing upon arrival.
Non-Immigrant Visa
There are also a number of non-immigrant visas that foreign nationals can apply for.
You can find more information about the visas here.
